The Alexander Technique is based upon the relatively simple notion that we have a design that works extraordinarily well if allowed to do so, but our life experience, good and bad, creates habits of use and tension that interfere with being our best selves.
Because of Covid-19 we are living in testing times and STAT guidance advises against person to person teaching for the moment. Instead we are teaching via zoom and Beverley has been supporting NHS staff with workshops in Breathing and Grounding(see testimonials).
Beverley has given group workshops to asthma sufferers via zoom including groups in Devon and Somerset and to local societies. Explaining good breathing technique for better understanding of how we breathe, calming and uplifting our spirits, energising and supporting

Our busy and demanding lives demand even more at the moment and the way life has changed can impact our physical and emotional well-being. Beverley has developed work that uses Mindfulness strategies side by side with Alexander Technique, creating an effective tool to develop understanding of the impact of stress in our daily life. Individual online sessions, using Alexander Technique strategies, personal coaching and breathing techniques will explore and develp an understanding of the physical and psychological habits that get in your way.

We have been teaching the Technique in Hertfordshire for 29 years from our teaching studio in St. Albans and now online. Our pupils have included many leading performing artists, sports people, health professionals and literally thousands of members of the general public in our courses and private tuition.
